Please join us for worship as we begin our Lenten journey together on Ash Wednesday, March 6.

Ash Wednesday is a solemn day of prayer that begins the season of Lent. This day gives us the occasion to admit that we will die and that we are sinners. We are marked with ashes – a sign of our death and of our sorrow for sin – but the ashes retrace a cross on our forehead, where the baptismal water first marked us with God’s grace. With the cross of Christ on our brow, we make our way through Lent, washed in God’s mercy and forgiveness.
