Graduation Sunday will be May 19. We are honoring our SecondFirst Church graduates!
Madeline Archer graduated from Hononegah High School with Honors. She’s been a member of Tri-M Music Honor Society and played flute and piccolo for the Hononegah Marching Band, Concert Band, Wind Ensemble and Pit Orchestras for the High School musicals, as well as making the IL District Honors Band multiple years. She’s also been a member of the National Honor Society as well as the Softball and Cross-Country teams. She was on the Scholastic Bowl Team and has been a Girl Scout for 13 years, most recently serving as Corresponding Secretary, Chaplain, Song Leader and Boatswain (president) of her Girl Scout Troop, Ship 361. Madeline will attend Illinois Wesleyan University in the Fall majoring in Music Education – Instrumental and minoring in Theatre Arts Design & Technology. She hopes to teach Middle School or High School band.
Radison Akerman graduated from the University of Illinois College of Engineering Computer Science. Radison received University Honors of Summa Cum Laude. Radison would like to thank everyone for helping achieve his college degree.
Roseva Massenat graduated on May 11 from Northern Illinois University. She earned her Bachelor’s in Health and Human Sciences.
Isabel Hernandez daughter of Jane Dickinson and granddaughter of Liz Dickinson graduated May18 from Elmhurst University and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree. Elmhurst University is affiliated with the United Church of Christ.
