Although they have performed at SecondFirst Church in the past, many people are unfamiliar with this wonderful choir from only 45 miles out from St. Louis. They will be performing a FREE CONCERT for us on Wednesday, March 11, at 7:00 pm! Here are more details about this fine ensemble and its director.
The Greenville University Choir is the flagship choral ensemble of Greenville University. The Choir presents as many as 20 off-campus performances each year as part of its annual tour. Membership consists of undergraduate students from various fields of study, and rehearsals occur four times a week. The Choir joins with the Greenville Choral Union in regular concerts of larger choral-orchestral works, including recent performances of Handel’s Messiah, Bach’s Magnificat, and Mozart’s Requiem.
