It’s peanut butter time!! For the entire month of May we are collecting peanut butter for the Rock River Valley Pantry. Jars of all sizes will be accepted. Thier goal for the peanut butter rally is 20,000 jars!!! We will be keeping track of how many pounds we collect. Help us contribute to this goal and make this our best food drive ever!
Why so many jars? During the school year, all students in the Rockford Public School District are eligible for free lunch. However, as schools go on summer break, parents will turn to the Rock River Valley Pantry so their kids won’t have to go without. Whether it’s creamy or crunchy, large or small, please consider donating this protein-rich staple to help this vulnerable population.
