Let’s help keep our most vulnerable citizens cool this summer! Due to COVID19 restrictions, the locations in our community that have traditionally been used for cooling centers during the summer are either not open or have a greatly reduced the number of people they are able to be serve due to social distancing requirements. Our friends and neighbors are suffering in the heat. Several agencies (see below for list) are coming together with funding from the United Way to open the Rockford Cooling Center at SecondFirst Church. This program is fully staffed, and all procedures have been approved by the Winnebago Country Health Department.
